Her mission as a women's nutritionist is to bridge the gap between conventional and alternative holistic medicine as she implements holistic healing for one's health, she practices nutrition coaching from an intuitive, mindful and integrative approach and works in a place of empathy and compassion.
Genisha believes that small changes make a big difference in nourishing the body. As a BIPOC nutritionist, she wants to help women with disordered eating patterns and body image concerns by teaching them how food and culture play an integral role in the mind and body when making lasting changes.

Holistic nutritionists are self-regulated professionals that study natural nutrition through a comprehensive program. Qualifying graduates earn a privately registered professional designation, meaning they are skilled in working one-on-one with clients within their Scope of Practice.
A dietitian is a regulated health professional accountable to provincial regulatory bodies. They often work in government institutions or private practices and with policymakers.
When finding a qualified health practitioner or professional, you should plan and research before booking a service. The benefit of working with either is that you'll be able to address underlying issues to help you get to the root of your primary health concerns.
Some insurance companies cover holistic Nutritional consultants. However, you can check with your employer or health insurance provider to see if you have a health spending account, which offers reimbursements for various health-related expenses, including nutritionists. If you aren't covered for nutritional consulting and would like to be, you can contact genisha@piecestopeace.ca to find out how you can request these services to your employer's extended insurance plan.
