Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Her perspective as a therapist is informed by a decade of global work with non-governmental organizations focused on women’s empowerment, child protection, gender-based violence, and human rights. Her experiences across Africa, Latin America, North America, the Caribbean, and Asia have shaped her deep understanding of what it means to be human in diverse cultural and systemic contexts.
