Hani Osman (She/Her) | Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying
Hani Osman is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and is also a member of
the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
Being a first generation immigrant herself, has shaped Hani’s understanding of the struggles new Canadians face. Her understanding of these struggles have inspired her work as a Black counsellor to provide adequate and
safe care for her clients, as well as recognizing the obstacles that may be present for
clients who want affordable therapy.
Hani has completed a Masters of
Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and has also completed
a Bachelor's of Education from Trent University.
As a Black female therapist, Hani operates from a person-centered approach utilizing therapeutic modalities
such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT),
as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She aims to assist clients with a
greater understanding of self, in addition to navigating childhood experiences
and lived traumas. She provides a warm and empathetic environment, ensuring her
clients navigate therapy collaboratively.
Hani treats clients with an array of issues such as depression, postpartum
depression, anxiety, identity issues and binge eating.
